You would be very welcome to join us for Sunday worship - our main service is at 10.30am. We thank God for the good things, and pray about the bad things. We read the Bible, and take from it strength for daily living. There's a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, where people are encouraged to be exactly who they are.

St Alban's Earsdon, Whitley Bay

St Alban's Church is in Earsdon, near Whitley Bay. Our Sunday morning service is at 10.30am: you'd be very welcome. There is no dress code, and we would be delighted to see you. Most Sundays it's a communion service. This act of worship re-tells the story of the Last Supper Jesus had with his followers the night before he died.

The parish of Earsdon & Backworth is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
