Heritage Open Day

September sees Heritage Open Days, as organised by English Heritage and the National Trust. As in the last few years, Saint Peter's will be open to mark HODs. On Friday 13 September the church will be open all day. Morning Prayer will be said as usual at 8.45am and the church will be open from then. Mass will be celebrated in the Holy Angels chapel at 12.30pm and Evening Prayer said at 6pm. The church will be closed after Stations of the Cross at 7.30pm. There will be displays of vestments, registers, parish magazines from the past, and church plate. We hope to have tea and coffee and squash and biscuits available throughout the day.
