Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a regular churchgoer or not.

Our Sunday service is a core part of our church community. We meet to worship God and encourage one another in our faith.

The service is informal, with everyone aged nine days to 99 years welcome.

The service lasts around an hour and a quarter. We sing songs, read the bible, hear teaching on the bible and pray. You don’t have to wear your Sunday best, and we won’t pressure you to join in or look happy!

For little ones, we offer a safe and welcoming crèche during the service. As your child grows, we pray their faith will too; our separate Sunday kids’ group (for ages 5-10) and youth group (11+) provide Bible teaching and a place for young people to flourish in their Christian faith together, whilst having heaps of fun!

More and more people are joining us each week and it’s exciting to see our church family grow.

Safeguarding

The parish of Davyhulme: Christ Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.
