Our choral evening service for Candlemas which reflects the theme of light and focusses on the Presentation of Christ in the Temple. During this service we bless candles for use in church in the coming year, extinguish the candles on our chandeliers, and turn off the light in the crib scene before it is removed until next Advent. The services includes a Candlemas procession and choral anthems plus hymns for the congregation.
