Orford Church has eight bells four new cast by Royal Eijsbouts, Holland and carefully matched to match the tone of the four old bells. these are the Treble (1739) the second bell (1694) and the 3rd and 4th bells 1679 .The bells were restored and rehung for the millennium and are in excellent condition. The great bell was made by Thomas Gardiner in Sudbury in 1739 to chime the hour for his Tower clock ,
The current bell ringing team is 6 strong and we are looking for new ringers.
