Following the suspension of services and then complete closure of church buildings throughout the Church of England due to the coronavirus pandemic we are pleased to announce that the church can now be used again for private prayer by the clergy and lay ministers! They will be taking it in turns to say services and offering prayers and praises to God on everyone's behalf. If you'd like anything or anyone prayed for during one of these services, please get in touch.
During these difficult times we need to look out for our neighbours more than ever and particularly those who were already more vulnerable and isolated. Many people living in care homes are some of the oldest and most vulnerable people in our society and now with few, if any, visitors allowed. We would like to support our local care homes. In St Michael’s Parish, we have been in contact with Juniper House to ask what support they would appreciate. They have said that “what would be lovely is for our residents to receive letters or pictures from the community, just to receive a positive message or a brightly coloured picture becomes a real focal point of their day.”If you would like to send a positive letter or card or a brightly coloured picture, please send it to: Juniper House Residential Care Home, 2 Oak View Way, Worcester. WR2 5FJ.We suggest that you put a reply address on letters or the back of your pictures as:[Your name][Your church], Team Office, 1a Bromyard Road, Worcester. WR2 5BS.
