Heartfelt thanks to all those from the Tunstall Community and beyond for everything that made the fundraiser for the DEC Turkey Syria Earthquake appeal such a wonderful occasion for the whole community. Lots of people dropped in to enjoy an incredible range of cakes, a cuppa and even a cup of hearty homemade soup.

Thanks to everyone's generosity  over £550  was raised ( final amount tbc). That's truly incredible. The Government are matching funds raised for the earthquake appeal - so the total DEC receive will be doubled.

Thank you to Tunstall village Hall for gifting us the use of the hall, helping put the tables out and supporting us by being present.

Thank you to Holy Trinity congregation for working with so many other people in the community and for getting the word out so successfully

Thank you for bringing people together in the village - there were a lot of happy faces and lovely conversations.

Thank you for making sure church isn't just about saving a building, but being good news, living out the divine commandment to love our neighbours as ourselves which is so central to the Christian faith.

Most of all thanks to each one of you for being a blessing.I hope you are not too exhausted and looking forward to gathering on;Wed 1st March 7pm 2023 Tunstall Village Hall to come up with some more great ideas for us to put into action!
