A service of Holy Communion, in the Methodist tradition

An informal service suitable for all ages, including breakfast of toast, croissants etc., served from 10.45am. Following the breakfast, at approximately 11.15am, there will be a short informal service for approximately 30 minutes, with everyone still sitting around the tables.

For the very young there will be toys to play with, together with activities for the slightly older children.

A service of Holy Communion, led by the Bishop of Exeter.
The service will include pieces by the Mission Common Pop-Up Choir to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Following the service the Bishop will bless a Cascade of Poppies from the top of the church tower, for which poppies have been made by children and adults from Bratton Fleming, neighbouring parishes, and other countries.

During the day an exhibition of memories of VE Day will be staged in the church, while outside a cascade of 5000+ poppies will descend from the top of the church tower.
In the evening the Jubilee Singers will perform a concert of period songs at 7.30pm
