A moving service as we remember Jesus, as servant, washing his friends feet and then focus on the Last Supper as the bread is broken and the wine poured out. Finally, the altar area is "stripped" of its finery ready for Good Friday as Jesus is seen in "majesty, enthroned upon the Cross". A majesty that comes from the humiliation of taking the form of a servant and dying, for us, on the Cross.

Christ Church

Worship is offered at Christ Church Quarry Bank every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. - a range of different services from Holy Communion with music from the excellent church choir (twice a month) to more informal morning worship. Cafe Church is held once a month on a Sunday afternoon while events for children take place during school holidays.
