St Peters Church is situated in the rural village of Monks Eleigh in the Brett Valley. It is sited at the top of an upward sloping village green which is bordered by a collection of Grade ll listed residential meetings and a pub at the bottom of the hill.

A Church has existed on this site for 900 years although the present building dates back to the 14th century.

Venue
Brent Eleigh, St Mary
Address
Hall Road Brent Eleigh Sudbury, CO10 9NP, United Kingdom

Our Summer Course this year revolves around Mark's gospel where with the aid of 'a map' we will be reflecting on Mark's journey as a disciple. We will be given 'a map' where we will follow his trail through word, pictures and music. It is a very interesting experience and well worth attending this course to deepen your knowledge of Mark as well as the Bible.
This event will be taking place on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm and will be hosted in the Churches within the Benefice.
Mark's experience will next be followed at Brent Eleigh Church on 16th July, then Chelsworth Church on 23rd July, Ketlebaston on 30th July and Milden on 13th August where we will end the journey with a session of singing our favourite songs of praise.
Refreshments will be provided afterwards.

Our lovely English organ has been refurbished and re-installed to a new part of the Church.
