The Chapel of Ss Mary & Nicolas, Lancing College
Lancing College Chapel is a magnificent Gothic Revival Chapel set in the South Downs National Park. Completed in 2021 with a 3 arched porch and dedicated in April 2022.
Lancing's remarkable Chapel has a very significant role in the lives of pupils and of the school community. It symbolises the importance of Christian worship at our school and has a major influence on pupils’ strong sense of moral and spiritual awareness.
The whole school attends the College Eucharist every Wednesday morning, on one or two Sundays each term and to gather to mark special events such as Remembrance Sunday, Founder’s Day and the Leavers’ Service.
The College's renowned Chapel Choir is made up of pupils (some are former Cathedral Choristers) and staff from across the school and plays a major part in our worship.
Parents are very welcome to attend any of the Sunday services. Public are welcome to Evensong on Friday's at 4.45pm. Please check the Events page on this site or on the College Website to see the dates of the next Evensong.
The Chapel is open to visitors every day. Please see the 'Find us' page to see the opening hours.
