St Mellitus, Hanwell

HELLO & WELCOME

Our hope is that this website gives you a flavour of who we are as a church and access to all the information you’re looking for.

Here at St Mellitus we are passionate about building a community with Jesus at its centre. A community where people can come as they are, where people from all walks of life feel welcome, and can find healing, hope and purpose in Jesus Christ. A church at the heart of Hanwell seeking to follow Jesus, live and love like him, and serve the diverse needs of this community.

If you’re looking for a church to call home, we’d love to welcome you!

Meet & Make

Occurring
Every Friday at for 2 hours
Venue
St Mellitus, Hanwell
Address
Church Road Hanwell Ealing, W7 3BA, United Kingdom

Description:Meet and Make is our weekly creative social group, which is open to all adults whether connected to the church or not. Each week we have a ‘craft of the week’ for those who want to try something new, but we also welcome those who want to bring along their own ongoing projects to get on with in a sociable atmosphere, and maybe inspire others in the group. You don’t need to ‘be creative’ to take part; the activities are designed for everyone to join in if they wish. We also hope to do some projects together which are ‘useful’ such as making hats for premature babies, and ‘green’ by using recycled materials where we can. Come along and see - Invite anyone you think would enjoy it too.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of St Paul West Ealing is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO via [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor via [email protected] or 020 7932 1224. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
