The Second Sunday before Advent [17.11.2024]

Dear Friends,

We will have this coming Sunday our Second Sunday before Advent service. This will be a Holy Communion service, and it will be led by the Reverend Dr Donald McFadyen, our chaplain. All young people are invited to attend the Sunday School session that will be led by Marie-Céline. The service sheet is attached.

We will be welcoming this Sunday morning to our service some families from Chemin Neuf who are participating in a 2-year-long Bible course called Emmaus. They will be studying ecumenism this weekend, hence the visit to St Luke’s, and this will probably be the first time many of them have visited an Anglican Church and participated in Anglican worship. There will be some translation into French as part of the service, so be prepared for something slightly different! We look forward to our service being enriched by the presence of these friends.

You are most welcome at Saint-Luke's, do not hesitate to invite your family and friends!

Safeguarding

The protection from harm of children, young persons and adults who may be vulnerable is of paramount importance to St. Luke’s. The chaplaincy council is committed to upholding the requirements and best practices of the Diocese in Europe Safeguarding Policy and Protocol and has therefore adopted the Chaplaincy Safeguarding Protocol proposed by the diocese.
