Donations to Bishop’s Lent Appeal in support humanitarian LES AMIS de L’Eglise Anglicane relief in Ukraine Dear friends, Sincere thanks to everyone that supported the recent fundraising events and made financial contributions towards our donation to the Bishop’s Lent and Easter appeal, which is dedicated to “provide critical financial resources towards the urgent and immediate needs of people in Ukraine and those who have fled as well as supporting the long-term work of recovery in the country”. As of the 14th April, this appeal had raised over £250,000. “I am humbled and delighted that our Lent and Easter Appeal for Ukraine has now raised over £250,000,” said Bishop Robert. “This money will continue to be used for immediate disaster relief and is available for chaplaincies working with refugees. On Saturday 23 April, a group of people from the congregation got together to pack up the contents of the flat St Luke's has been renting in Avon. We were very happy to have the help from some youngsters/Scouts. Hard work but good fun!A big thank you to everyone who helped.
