Our Building

The great, stained-glass window at the east end of the church, over the Lord's Table, depicts the Transfiguration of Christ on Mount Tabor.

The church is open everyday for individual prayer. Prayer Books and Bibles are offered in the pews.

Organ

Services are drawn from the only permanently-authorised liturgy of the Church of England, the Book of Common Prayer (1662), with readings from the Authorized Version of the Bible. Compline is sung weekly on Wednesdays from the 1928 Book of Common Prayer (the "Deposited Book").

A quartet of four professional singers leads worship on Sunday mornings.
A voluntary choir leads Sunday Evensong and services on Feast Days through the year.
All are very welcome to join.

The Organ


Groups, Courses and Activities

Monthly activities including parish walks and church visits.

Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous groups meet in the Vestry House on weekdays. See their respective websites for more information.

The parish runs regular studies and courses through the year. Recent themes have included, "Covenant and the Old Testament", New Testament Greek, and the Epistle of James.

Please speak to the Rector or clergy if you are interested in joining our Baptism and Confirmation preparation classes.

One charity, Street Storage uses the Church's facilities on Wednesday mornings. Another charity, Showerbox, provides homeless provision on Saturday mornings.

The church has a play area. All are very welcome to make use of this facility through the week.

Please contact the church office if you would like to get involved with either of our two resident charities, Showerbox and Street Storage. We are always delighted to hear from prospective volunteers.

Please contact the church office to arrange a guided tour. We are very happy to welcome groups small or large.

The Rosie & Joe coffee stall is open in the north churchyard, Monday-Friday, 8am - 3.30pm.
