About Us

Hope Church Islington is in the heart of this Central London borough. We have two buildings: on Holloway Road at St Mary Magdalene and on Westbourne Road at St David. Westbourne Road re-opened in November 2013 following the complete refurbishment of the St David's building.

We are a diverse and welcoming fellowship based at St Mary Magdalene Church in the centre of the Borough of Islington. Our vision is to build communities that grow followers of Jesus for London and the world. 

It’s about ‘bringing hope to life’ all around us.

We run a number of activities and various courses. Plus there’s a regular programme of bigger events, socials and community projects in the pipeline.

On Sundays we meet at 11am, our service includes contemporary worship, teaching and ministry - as well as Hope Kids and Godly Play.
