Members of the Mothers' Union new Online branch who attend St Aidan's Church in Brunton Park are supporting the Mother's Union Global Day of Action against gender based violence. They will be writing “No more 1 in 3” as a candle display, with the candles being lit at dusk. The display will be photographed and put on the C.A.D.A. (Christians Against Domestic Abuse) website: www.cadanortheast.org on November 27 the global day of action. “One in three” is the global statistic reflecting the number of women who will suffer gender abuse at some time in their lives, one in four is the figure for Britain. Domestic abuse is everyone's business. We all need to do everything we can to eradicate this crime against humanity.
