In the run up to the COP26 (United Nations Climate Change) Conference taking place in Glasgow, St Aidan's have been offering prayers and focusing on the conference.

A banner was made to encourage and support the Young Christian Climate Network (YCCN) on their relay walk to Glasgow, and prayer boats have been handed out to offer prayers, which are now part of our church display.

We are planning to open the church for a week long event, welcoming members of the community to come in and take time over the various prayer stations we are preparing, and on Sunday 7th November our morning service will be devoted to the climate, with younger members of the church and our ECO group taking a leading role in a service prepared by lay members of the church, to welcome the whole community to pray for the COP26 conference.
