All are welcome at St Bride's Sunday morning service. We meet at 10am, followed by coffee at 11.15am and sometimes a shared lunch afterwards. Services use a variety of creative liturgy, and often follow a theme for each month.
The last Sunday of each month is a joint service which moves around our three team churches so please keep an eye out for these!
Sign up for our e-news to find out more about what's on at St Bride's at the bottom of our website home page: https://stbridesliverpool.org.uk/

Our service includes silence, song, creative prayer activities and discussion. We draw inspiration for our liturgies from the work of the Iona Community, Jim Cotter, the Progressive Christian Network, Bruce Sanguin, Inclusive Church, the St Hilda Community and more.

Film Screening - 1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture

Occuring
for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
St Bride's
Address
Percy Street Liverpool, L8 7LT, United Kingdom

1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture is a feature documentary that follows the story of tireless researchers who trace the origins of the anti-gay movement among Christians to a grave mistranslation of the Bible in 1946. It chronicles the discovery of never-before-seen archives at Yale University which unveil astonishing new revelations, and casts significant doubt on any biblical basis for LGBTQIA+ prejudice. Featuring commentary from prominent scholars as well as opposing pastors, including the personal stories of the film’s creators, 1946 is at once challenging, enlightening, and inspiring.

In the lead up to Liverpool Pride join us for a screening of this film at St Bride's. Entry by donation
