Kedington Church Fete and Home-made and Home-grown Show

The sun shone and the rain kept away for the Kedington Church Fete on the meadow opposite the church on Saturday 7 September. As well as the bar and BBQ, there was bottle stall, a raffle for three luxury hampers, produce stall and games for all ages.

Alongside the fete, the Home-made and Home-grown show took place in the church. The number of exhibits for the fruit, veg and flowers were lower than previous years but the children's classes, arts and crafts and culinary sections were considerably higher. It too the judges two hours to taste all the cake, scones, jams, pies and chutneys.
