Halloween, or All Hallows' Eve, is the beginning of one of the most wonderful and joyful Christian festivals in the year: All Saints. In this feast we give thanks that through people just like us God is bringing light to this dark world of sadness and sorrow.

This year for the first time we are offering a Children's Mass followed by food and party games. Let's be little lights together as the days grow shorter, remembering the wonderful hope we have to share.

St Matthew's Carver Street Sheffield

Founded in 1855, we seek to be a place of sanctuary in the midst of the busy city of Sheffield. We are a Church in the Anglo Catholic Tradition under the Episcopal care of the Bishop of Beverley.

Solemn Mass is held at 11am and a Said Mass at 6pm every Sunday. Said Mass is held daily Monday to Saturday. Full details can be found on the Calendar of Events page and on the Weekly Notice Sheet. The Church is open daily for private prayer.
