You are encouraged to come and walk the way of the Cross at our Stations in St Matthew’s. This is an ancient devotional act for Christians to commemorate the last sad scenes of our blessed Lord’s life. To be held on Sundays in Lent at 10.25 and 5.25 ie before each Mass.

St Matthew's Carver Street Sheffield

Founded in 1855, we seek to be a place of sanctuary in the midst of the busy city of Sheffield. We are a Church in the Anglo Catholic Tradition under the Episcopal care of the Bishop of Beverley.

Solemn Mass is held at 11am and a Said Mass at 6pm every Sunday. Said Mass is held daily Monday to Saturday. Full details can be found on the Calendar of Events page and on the Weekly Notice Sheet. The Church is open daily for private prayer.
