Baldersby Mission Room
Baldersby Mission Room is a gift to the community. It is a place that is open throughout the day for anyone to use as a place of oasis and quiet reflection.
And on Christmas Morning, there is a celebration of Holy Communion at 9.15am.
The Mission Room is part of the parish of Baldersby with Dishforth, and most events take place in the parish church of Baldersby St James, two miles down the road. Please see the website for Baldersby Church, or the A Church Near You page for Baldersby St James.
The parish is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
Further details concerning Safeguarding can be found under the specific tab on the left of this page.
