About Us

We are a friendly village church in the heart of Bagby. We are part of a group of local parishes based around Sowerby (Sowerby, Sessay, Bagby, Kilburn and Thirkleby). Services are held at St Mary's at 10:30am every 1st Sunday of each month.

At present we have just the one service a month at Bagby as the church is in a Benefice of 5 parishes all within 5 miles of each other and for the rest of the month the services rotate:

1st Sunday of the month  Holy Communion at St Mary's Bagby at 10.30

2nd Sunday of the month Holy Communion at All Saints, Thirkleby at 10.30

3rd Sunday of the month  Holy Communion at St Mary's Kilburn at 10.30

4th Sunday of the month Holy Communion at St Oswald's Sowerby at 10.30

5th Sunday of the month Group Holy Communion usually St Oswalds Sowerby at 10.30
