Apologies for the inconvenience but our session on 19 November has been cancelled due to the weather forecast.

The language used by the church and occasionally by us all, to discuss faith, religion or belief can often be confusing, misinterpreted and for some alienating. The purpose of this small group is to create a space where language and concepts can be explored safely, and greater insight developed. The group meets every two weeks and is open to all, of faith and no faith. A space to listen, share and question.

This is one of a series of new and exciting experiments we are running this year: do come along and experience something a little different.

Please contact Reverend Anthony for further information: [email protected] or 01947 899843.

St Matthew's Grosmont

Our benefice, Middle Esk Moor, was created in 2000 and comprises the parishes of Glaisdale with Lealholm, Egton, Grosmont and Goathland. Our churches are set in the spectacular countryside of the moors and dales of the North York Moors National Park. They can be reached via the A171 Middlesbrough to Whitby road, or the A169 Whitby to Pickering road.
