At this special meeting we’ll build on all the energy we’ve generated and hard work we’ve put in across Middle Esk Moor over the last year. Based on our discussions and survey feedback, we’ll launch four new Benefice teams focussed on Pastoral Care, Ministry, Sustainability and Fundraising.

Each of our teams, including people from across our villages, will agree three things they want to achieve over the next three months, taking the load off our four parochial church councils (PCCs) by working collaboratively on common priorities.

All are welcome to come along. There’ll be afternoon tea included. Please download our Agenda from the link.

Meetings held every three months.

St James' Lealholm

Our benefice, Middle Esk Moor, was created in 2000 and comprises the parishes of Glaisdale with Lealholm, Egton, Grosmont and Goathland. Our churches are set in the spectacular countryside of the moors and dales of the North York Moors National Park. They can be reached via the A171 Middlesbrough to Whitby road, or the A169 Whitby to Pickering road.
