Organised by Churches Together in Fylingdales, this year we woll be folloing a series of videoa byt the Rt Revd Phlip North, Bishop of Blackburn on Prayer.

Based on the 23rd Psalm the service this morning will look at the words and music which lend meaning to the psalm. This will be a PowerPoint led service

BIRDS OF HEART AND SKY came about through a love of birds. It is a radio ballad: a collection of emotive audio works, songs, poetry, compositions and field recordings celebrating a selection of birds currently on the Red List of most vulnerable birds in the UK.
Illuminating puffins, turtle doves, skylarks, curlews and cuckoos, the audio installation was created to help raise awareness and promote more public support to help increase bird populations.
Music, lyrics and sounds were composed, recorded and produced by Scarborough composer/songwriter Sarah Dew with recorded contributions from guest singers and other field recordists.
The installation includes printed text to give further information on the birds, also enabling hearing impaired audience members to fully access the lyrics.
Ambient lighting enhances the atmosphere.

We will start the service in the church rooms, then process across to church with palms for Holy Communion and a dramatised telling of the Passion.

To remember Christ washing the feet of his disciples at the Last Supper, we celebrate Holy Communion and wash the feet of those who wish.
