for 1 hour, 30 mins
Midsummer’s Day has long been a day for showing our appreciation of the gifts of nature. John the Baptist, or the Forerunner, is someone from whom we can learn much that is relevant to this.
This event is something of an experiment. It will include the reading of some poems; some reflections; exploration of the garden if you wish to do that…….time for conversation, and time for prayer.
There is some feeling that it would be good to have opportunities for quiet, reflective times together; for occasional outside events; for celebrations of more saints’ days.
All warmly welcome---church goers or not!
