Getting here
The present building dates back to the 12th Century, but remains of Anglo Saxon crosses suggest a Church was here prior to this building. All Saints has changed over the years, losing it's tower in 1880. It has a triple decor pulpit and was the home Church of James Cook when he lived in the village from aged 8 to 15. His sponsor Thomas Skottowe is buried in the Church and his mother and siblings within the Churchyard.
All Saints is candle lit and still used for worship on Sunday evenings at 6pm and Wednesday mornings at 10am from July to the beginning of October.
It is also open for visitors from April to October from 2pm - 4.30pm each afternoon and from 10.30am - 12 noon on Tuesdays
