St Matthew's Parish Church

St. Matthews is the parish church for Hutton Buscel and West Ayton.  It dates back to the 12th century and is set in one of the largest churchyards in North Yorkshire.

We hold regular services on Sundays each month, a communion service on Thursday mornings, and a variety of special events throughout the year. The church is currently open in daylight hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  If you are in the area please do pay us a visit, either simply to look around our beautiful church and grounds, or to join us at a service.

Also on Tuesdays, we serve tea and coffee between 1030 and 1200.  Everyone is welcome so come along for a drink and chat!

If you have any queries, the best way to contact us is by emailing [email protected] or by calling one of the phone numbers shown on our website: www.mooranddale.church
