Family Fun returned on 9th January with the 3 Wise Men making an appearance. We enjoyed creating our movable wise men and went home after sharing a yummy Cottage Pie.Family Fun meets fortnightly on Thursdays. We open at 3pm so you can come straight from school (drinks and snacks available) or you can go home to change first. Our art and craft activity usually starts around 4pm. After a short service in church, we share a hot meal together. All families are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Please contact us if you would like any information or have any questions. If you are vegetarian, vegan or have any food intolerance, please let us know by the day before so we can cater for you.Our next Family Fun will be on Thursday 23rd January.
We are delighted that we are now able to open our church building. We have COVID-19 procedures in place to keep us all as safe as possible. Please follow the instructions while you are in church. To comply with Track and Trace we will have to take your name and a contact telephone number which will be held for 21 days and then destroyed. All of our Masses can now be attended in person. We have organ music on Sunday mornings but are not currently allowed to have any singing during public worship. As always children are welcome at S. Hilda's but you must make sure they stay with you at all times to ensure social distancing is maintained. Our church is also open for private prayer by appointment. Please contact Fr. Edward to arrange this.
While our church building is closed, Mass will continue to be offered daily by Fr. Edward. These masses are live streamed on our dedicated new Facebook page. All are welcome to join in by liking and commenting response during Mass. As our continuing Social Distancing and Self Isolation continues, we will develop this new way of being church. Please check back if you do not find what you are looking for today. Our new Facebook page can be found here https://www.facebook.com/S-Hildas-during-Coronavirus-104059951231267/
