Christmas Party
We are looking forward to our Christmas party this Tuesday, 10th December, at our usual time of 10.30 - 12.00. We then break up for Christmas, so this is our last meeting of the year.
Please bring a festive packed lunch for your child. We will provide some treats for the adults.
There will be a visit from Father Christmas, with gifts for the children. You will be able to take a picture of Father Christmas with your child but please don't put photos on social media.

Carols Round the Crib Christmas Eve 3.OOpm
You are welcome to come to this event at St Barnabas; it is suitable for all the family and particularly ideal for primary-aged children. Children can come dressed as their favourite Biblical Christmas character or animal as we tell the story of Christmas and sing carols together.

Heating in the church and Hall
We are having a new heating system installed in the New Year; we are unsure of the exact date that this will be.
So we propose to delay the start of the new term in 2025. We will of course keep you informed here (or sign up for email) when we know more.

St Barnabas Swanland

Welcome to St. Barnabas - a Church in the village of Swanland, a few miles west of Hull in East Yorkshire, where everyone is welcome. 

Our 10.00 am Sunday services are friendly and relaxed, and we offer activities for different age groups. As part of the local community in Swanland, we love to share happy events such as weddings and christenings and we are here to help during some of life's difficult times.   Or perhaps you need some quiet space or someone to talk to or to pray with.   If so, please contact us, or turn up on Sunday at 10.00 am, or Monday-Thursday 10.00 am -12.00 noon.
