Occurring
Every Third, Fifth Sunday at for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue Address
St Barnabas Swanland, Main Street Swanland Hull, HU14 3QP, United Kingdom
Join us on Sunday for a morning service, with a mixture of traditional hymns on the organ and modern songs led by the Worship Team. The words we use are usually projected onto a screen.

The children remain in the service for this service.

Our services are informal, following the Church of England liturgy.

There is no need to wear anything special, most people dress casually, and you can sit where you like. We do take up an offering as part of our worship but there is no obligation to give.

After the service, everyone is welcome to stay to chat and enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea,

If you want to see what we do before coming along, please see our YouTube channel where you can find recordings of our Sunday services. Everyone is welcome, regardless of your church background if, indeed, you have any church background.

St Barnabas Swanland

Welcome to St. Barnabas - a Church in the village of Swanland, a few miles west of Hull in East Yorkshire, where everyone is welcome.

Our 10.00 am Sunday services are friendly and relaxed, and we offer activities for different age groups throughout the week. As part of the local community in Swanland, we love to share happy events such as weddings and christenings and we are here to help during some of life's difficult times.   Or perhaps you need some quiet space or someone to talk to or to pray with.   If so, please contact us, or turn up on Sunday at 10.00 am, or Monday-Thursday 10.00 am -12.00 noon.

If you want to know more, sign up here to receive regular details of our church activities (you can unsubscribe at any time).

Our church is made up of ordinary people; we're not perfect but we are continuing to learn more about God’s love and the difference He can make in our lives.

We would love to welcome you here.

Revd. Kevin Barnard (Vicar)
