About Us

St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church has stood in the heart of our village since 1160. Today the church is still an important part of village life and a warm welcome is offered to everyone who comes through the door. The church is well maintained and our worship tries to meet the needs of all the parishioners.

We have strong links with the village community, local primary school and our neighbouring churches at Elstronwick and Humbleton.

A weekly ‘pop in’ café in the local Community Centre on Tuesday mornings creates a welcome place for a chat, giving villagers time to catch up with friends.
