The insurance claim for the repair of the St Mary's lych gate and noticebaord, which were damaged when the bough of a beech tree blew down during Storm Lilian on August 23 2024 has now been settled. 

Local builder Patrick Turner, of P L Turner, of North Frodingham did the work, supported by carpenter Richard Flack, of Nafferton Traditional Interiors.
