Baptist Union / Church of England / Methodist Church / Roman Catholic Church / United Reformed Church

Welcome to the Church of Christ the Cornerstone where five denominations work together, sharing the same space and a commitment to serve the people of Milton Keynes. We are a diverse community discovering and growing in the Christian faith. We experience God’s love and are challenged to live that love and share it with the wider community.

The Church and Chapel are usually open seven days a week for private prayer and public worship.

Safeguarding

It is our Church’s intention to value every human being as part of God’s creation and the whole people of God. At the heart of our community is a deep sense of the place of welcome, hospitality and openness, which demonstrates the nature of God’s grace and love for all.
Our church communities are called to be places where the transformational love of God is embodied and life in all its fullness is a gift, which is offered to all people.
Each denomination in our covenant has its own set of procedures for safeguarding. As an ecumenical congregation, it is important that the Church of Christ the Cornerstone has clear procedures. It has therefore been agreed that the safeguarding procedures for The Methodist Church will be used.

This policy was prepared by our Safeguarding Officer and was approved by Ecumenical Council
