This year it is being held at St. Catherine's Church, Leconfield. You are all most welcome.
Mothering Sunday is a day honouring mother churches, the church where one is baptised and becomes "a child of the church", celebrated since the Middle Ages in the United Kingdom, Ireland and some Commonwealth countries
on the fourth Sunday in Lent.
On Mothering Sunday, Christians have historically visited their mother church—the church in which they received
the sacrament of baptism.

St Mary's Church, Lockington

St Mary's Church is set in the village of Lockington and was built by the Norman's in 1150, extended in the 14th Century and again in the 18th. It  is a Grade I listed building. Internally the modern is mixed with the old, with a beautiful stained glass window installed in 2010, which depicts the parable of the sower.
