St Mary's Church, Lockington

St Mary's Church is set in the village of Lockington and was built by the Norman's in 1150, extended in the 14th Century and again in the 18th. It  is a Grade I listed building. Internally the modern is mixed with the old, with a beautiful stained glass window installed in 2010, which depicts the parable of the sower.

Our parish of Lockington: St. Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
