Rob Halligan in Concert

Occuring
for 2 hours
Venue
St Nicholas' Church
Address
83 Holmechurch Lane Beverley East Riding, HU17 0QP, United Kingdom

Our Autumn concert programme welcomes back Rob Halligan to St Nick's. 7-30pm on 29 Sep. Tickets £12 via Eventbrite (follow link)

Rob is an award winning musician, a prolific songwriter and speaker. He’s worked and performed with an array of artists from Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue) and Graeme Duffin (Wet Wet Wet) to The Younguns and Phil Beer and appeared on national TV and radio.

ABOUT THE TOUR
Rob is hitting the road with his “Between The Songs”, which will be touring across the UK through 2023. The 2023 tour follows on from his “Always Heading Home” tour which attracted great reviews and national media coverage and finished with a Christmas show at Yorkshire's Headingly Stadium.

The shows have plenty of laughs, stories and music and take the audience on a journey of faith and hope. Each show is “packed with stories and songs that are complemented by Rob’s natural rapport with the audience”. (BBC CWR review)

This tour will be packed with new songs and some re-worked classics, plenty of stories, honesty, hope and laughter. It’s happening in partnership with, and in support of Global Care, a children’s charity Rob has worked with since 2004, visiting Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Lebanon/Syria. (www.globalcare.org.uk)

St Nicholas' Church

We are a growing, generous and welcoming Anglican church in Beverley, worshipping God in our services and by loving and serving our community.

We are part of the Christian story of good news that God the Father's love for the world was shown in Jesus. God's Spirit teaches that story in the Bible, in sharing communion, in prayer and in our everyday lives. Our worship is a mix of liturgy and informality, with both contemporary and more traditional music.
