We host a service as part of the Wolds Valley Benefice every five weeks, on the second Sunday of the month. The service begins at 10.00am and all are welcome - it would be lovely to see you at our worship and for coffee and home-made biscuits afterwards! Every other month we host an 8.30 Eucharist as well!

Safeguarding

Our parish of Wharram: St Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Sue Teal, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on 01904 699524 or [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.

For further information please see our safeguarding page.
