St Peter's Church is a well loved place to celebrate Holy Matrimony in the presence of our God of love, joy and peace. If you consider St Peter's Church for this special occasion, we journey with you to shape a service that is personal and meaningful to the couple, providing prayerful pastoral support along the way as well as being available for support through their married life beyond.

The church building can seat up to 400 guests, but because of the design of the building, fewer guests do not look or feel swamped, but comfortably at home within the versatile, light space.

Petite Weddings

For weddings with choice few guests, St Peter's Chapel within the church building, offers a tranquil, romantic space. It seats up to 24 guests. There are photographs of the Chapel below.

Music

We have an organ, facilities for a worship band and a good sound system for recorded music. The tower hosts one of the best peel of bells in Yorkshire! 

Reception

The Church also has the facilities for the provision of light refreshments after the service. Or perhaps consider booking St Peter's Church House or a marquee on the green adjacent to the church for your Reception.
