Celebrating 90 years of St Hugh's
1 Oct 2023, 10 a.m. for 1 hour
Welcome to St Hugh’s Banbury
We meet each Sunday at 10 am in our church building on Ruskin Road. Everyone is welcome. We normally record the service with it being available afterwards on Facebook and YouTube.
Our most recent Sunday service (Sunday 24th November) can be found here.
We are continuing to host a Warm Welcome Space on Tuesdays and Fridays. See here.
A Prayer used in Oxford diocese
God of gentleness and love
Draw near to us as we draw near to you
Dwell in every heart and conversation
Fashion in us the likeness of your Son, Jesus Christ.
Help us to discern together all that you are calling us to be
And all that you are calling us to do.
Assist us, by your Spirit,
to become a more contemplative, more compassionate and more courageous Church
For the building of your kingdom and the glory of your Son.
Amen.
Safeguarding
"The parish of Banbury St Hugh is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
