St John's is usually open during the week from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm, for you to call in and explore, or stop a while to pray.  There's opportunity to write a prayer request on our board at the front of church.

Sometimes people contact us to find out about their family history. You might find it helpful to know that all our old baptism, marriage and burial registers are archived in the Borthwick Institute, University of York, Heslington.
