A Julian meditation, led by the Revd Dr Gwynne Wright.
In her near-death, Julian of Norwich was shown a crucifix by her priest. He encouraged her to look at it and take comfort from it. Later Julian wants to look away from the cross. But she dare not for she knew that while looking at the crucifix she was secure and safe.
We will read some of what Julian tells us she saw as she looked upon the cross and mediation on Christ’s crucifixion and death.
