No communion service at St Chad's on 8 September due to York Races. There will be a Benefice service at St Clement's instead.
Following the 10.30 service and coffee there will be a hot lunch: e.g. shepherd's pie, lasagne, vegetarian, etc and crumbles. Please let us know if you can contribute in any way.
Both our churches support Carecent, particularly at this time. There will be flyers in the churches with information about how to best do this.

Community Connect is more than just an Internet Cafe at St Clements. At the request of some regular attendees we have recently acquired a chess board and some other board games. It is worth popping in for a coffee to see what is going on or to make connections with the ward Local Area Coordinator. Or even to find out how to get started using that (not always so) smart phone.
Informal worship with prayer, led by members of the music team. Every Wednesday from 8pm - 9pm at St Clement's. Everyone welcome.
Stay-and-Play group of 0-5s and their carers. Toys, crafts, refreshments, stories, songs. During term time.

During the winter months (October - March) we'll offer a monthly one hour Breathing Space at 10am on the third Saturday of the month (except December) in St Chad's church. All are welcome. The first will be Oct 19th on using the imagination in prayer.
Coffee from 7pm, prayer 7.15 to 8.15pm
Come and enjoy a coffee and a chat. Also, raffle and stalls including Fair Trade and cakes. Any contributions to the cake stall gratefully received.
We intend to hold our coffee mornings regularly on the first Saturday of each month.

A service in which we worship God in song, word and silence. You don’t have to join in singing; if you wish, simply sit and listen. If new to this form of worship, you are warmly invited to come and see what it is like.

The date of the July quiz night has been changed from 26 July to 19 July.
We are starting to explore a new way to worship together and we are going to start this with toast (and other refreshments!) at 10:30am followed by a church service from 11:00-12:00
Join us this Sunday 1st September for the first Toast@10 followed by worship and 'clearing out the cobwebs'.
Toast@10 will take place on the 1st, 22nd and 29th September. All are welcome. The new morning service at St Clement's will formally launch on Sunday 13th October at 10am.
