Welcome! Situated about four miles north of the City of York, our parish (together with St Mary's Church, Haxby) is part of The United Benefice of Haxby and Wigginton, within the Church of England Diocese of York.
We are following the Diocesan Vision of 'Living Christ's Story'.
Inspired by the love of God we see in Jesus we try to become more like him through prayer and worship, exploring faith, involvement in our local community and treasuring our world and environment.
We enjoy worshipping God and meeting together, and you are very welcome to join us!
Our usual services are at 9.30 a.m. on Sundays and 10.30 a.m. service on Thursdays.
You will find links on our Benefice website to enable you get involved, and to find out more about how we might help in organising 'life events' such as baptisms, christenings and weddings.
Safeguarding: The Parish of St Nicholas Wigginton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance. For details of our Safeguarding contacts and policies see the links on our 'A Church Near You' site and our benefice website.
