About Us

St.Nicholas' Church is the Church of England Parish Church of Wigginton. It is part of the United Benefice of Haxby and Wigginton.

There has been a Church in Wigginton since before the Norman Conquest, although the present building is Victorian. It a small and intimate church seating around 100, so we are frequently fairly full.
The 9.30 am Service has a regular congregation of between 30 and 40 people, and is a mix of ages.

The 9.30 am service is either a Sung Eucharist or a Morning Worship service

Every Thursday there is a said communion service at 10.30 am
