The Church of St Mary, Hambleton
Please check our website for the most up-to-date information about our Services.
Baptisms, Funerals and Weddings are by arrangement.
Our parish of Hambleton: St Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies. At the present time we do not have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) and are working hard to address that. Our Diocese of York’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who would advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Revd Mark Poskitt, Priest in Charge, Tel: 01757 247768 or email; [email protected] or Rob Marshall , The Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, Tel: 01904 699509 or email: [email protected]]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
