Kath Backhouse - our very own Simon Cowell - is a singing and piano coach who can help boost your confidence, improve your vocals and who knows, maybe even help you find your X Factor! It is at 9.45am, every Tuesday, at St Mary's Church, Carlton. Cost £3.

If you are free on Wednesdays maybe you’d like to try our Fellowship Group? There’s a meeting every Wednesday, except school holidays, at Brayton Church Hall from 2-4pm. You’d be very welcome and we’d love to meet you. We will be taking a break for Christmas from Dec 11 and will restart on January 8, 2025. Look forward to welcoming you in the new year.

Once a month we have a special service to welcome local families for baptism and/or take a break from our normal pattern to use a Morning prayer format. On these Sundays we also offer Holy Communion at Drax Church at 9.30am

The Sing2gether Choir will be in fine voice for a special charity concert on November 29 at 7pm in St Mary’s Church, Carlton. Entry is free but we’d love it if you could give a donation on the night as money raised will be given to Yorkshire Cancer Research. So why not come along for an entertaining evening and help raise much needed funds.

This one off event is part of the Faith in the North project. Join Archbishop Stephen and Bishop Flora at Selby Abbey on November 13 at 7.30pm for an evening exploring the Lord’s Prayer.

Thank you to all those who worked so hard to put this event together. The turnout wasn’t as good as we’d hoped which was disappointing but we still managed to raise over £500. Thank you to all those who continue to support our church.
