Welcome to the June 2024 edition of Connected.

In May St Wilfrid’s held its annual Spring Fair on a gloriously sunny and warm Saturday afternoon. It was good to see the church filled with people enjoying the occasion. During the Fair the Yorkshire Rotters attended, distributing leaflets on garden composting and recipe cards that demonstrated tasty and healthy ways to ‘use up’ food to avoid waste.

There is a brief report on the Churches Together Quiz held in the Portholme Church, and news from the Fairburn Singers who have a fund-raising concert planned for 22nd June in The Riley-Smith Hall, Tadcaster, where they will be joined by the Featherstone Male Voice Choir. Should be a great evening!
